This award honors a military service member or veteran who demonstrates outstanding dedication, leadership, and commitment to the Warrensburg community. The recipient exemplifies exceptional character and inspires others through meaningful community involvement and service. The Spirit Champion of the Year reflects the values of service and community pride that strengthen the bond between the military and the greater Warrensburg area. To be eligible, the individual need not be a member of the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber will honor the winner at the Annual Awards & Social on July 23rd, 2026. Nominees are encouraged to attend the awards ceremony. Nominators are asked to inform the nominee of the nomination and encourage the nominee to attend the event. A nominating committee composed of Chamber Ambassadors will review all submitted applications.

Past winners are not eligible to apply for two years in the category for which they won.

For example:

• 2023 winners may not apply again until 2026
• 2024 winners may not apply again until 2027
• Immediate past winners may apply in new categories.
