This week-long event’s purpose is to encourage community volunteerism and to spruce up our town for the spring season. Residents, families, community groups, businesses, churches, and teenagers who need to perform service hours can seek out projects and implement them during this time. Love What’s Local will not be assigning specific projects, but can suggest areas needing improvement. When posting photos to social media, use the hashtag #CleanTheBurg to be featured on the Love What’s Local social media pages. To see photos of past projects, search #CleanTheBurg on Facebook, as well.
