An integral part of the University of Central Missouri’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration held each year in January is the presentation of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Award and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., High School Community Service Award.

These awards are presented jointly by the Greater Warrensburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the UCM Student Experience and Engagement Office at the monthly Chamber luncheon in January. The 2022 awards will be presented Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at the luncheon American Legion Matthews-Crawford Post 131, 733 E. Young Avenue in Warrensburg.
