Ambassadors are Chamber members that are current or past members of the Board of Directors.  They are truly the champions of the organization and offer continuous support and guidance to members and staff. This group strives to appear at all events with enthusiasm, with helpful information, and with sincere words of welcome.  They are the “face of the Chamber” to the public.

Chuck Cook & Jolene Sullivan; Co-Chairs

Helps to build awareness of challenges our membership and community is facing.  Provide resources to businesses to access professionals who can help them create a strategic plan to increase their viability and ensure their survival before it is too late.  Offer mentorship opportunities to assist in business growth and development. 

Tyler Habiger; Chair

Provides members with information on issues and concerns of local, county, state, and federal issues that affect businesses and the greater Warrensburg area community.

Provides support and enhanced value for our members through networking opportunities, mentorship to new Chamber members, and assistance navigating Chamber benefits and services. Members attend ribbon-cutting ceremonies and present quarterly membership orientations.

What is an Emerging Professional?
Emerging professionals are forward-thinking individuals committed to continuous learning and professional development. They are new to their fields or have recently taken on new responsibilities, and they seek opportunities to build foundational leadership skills, gain valuable insights from seasoned experts, and collaborate with peers who share their passion for growth. This group is defined by their desire to grow, adapt, and evolve in a dynamic business environment.

Emerging Professionals
Emerging Professionals (EP) is designed to help these driven professionals grow both personally and professionally. This is your opportunity to strengthen communication and leadership skills, deepen your community involvement, and build lasting professional relationships through networking and collaboration.
As part of our commitment to your growth, EP offers a professional certification earned in four parts. Upon completion of each section, you’ll receive a certificate presented at our Annual Awards. The final certification will also include an official LinkedIn badge to validate your expertise and dedication to your career. By completing this program, you will not only expand your network but also gain a tangible credential to highlight your professional development.

Get Involved with the EP Committee
Our committee is dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for our members. We work together to:

• Set up volunteer opportunities that allow members to give back to the community and build their leadership skills.
• Plan engaging EP events focused on networking, professional development, and community building.
• Develop goals and teaching points for the upcoming year’s certification program, ensuring the content is relevant and valuable to all members.

The annual dues to join the EP Committee are:
Chamber Members: $25
Non-Chamber Members: $50

Elizabeth Hargrave, Annie McCoy & Baylee Garrison; Co-Chairs

The Warrensburg Chamber Marketing Committee strives to engage local marketing professionals in educating and advising local business owners in bettering their own marketing strategies. The committee also works closely with Chamber Staff on tasks to improve and advance the community’s perception of all the chamber has to offer the greater Johnson County community.

SueAnn Carter; Chair

Provides an environment for business professionals to connect, engage, and learn through leadership development, educational opportunities, and innovative outreach.

Robin Crouch & Steve Ritter; Co-Chairs

Supports area military personnel including Whiteman AFB 509th Bomb Wing, Air Force Reserve 442d FW, Missouri Air National Guard’s 131st Bomb Wing, Missouri Army National Guard 1/135th Aviation Battalion, University of Central Missouri ROTC, local recruiters, and veterans. ($25/yr. dues). Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month, except in December, at 4 PM.

Melissa Werner, Jolene Sullivan & Misty Miller; Co-Chairs

Plans and executes appropriate fund-raising activities for the Chamber.
