Serving the spiritual and religious needs of Warrensburg, more than 30 faith communities gather for worship and service each week. From small intimate families of faith to large congregations offering programs and groupings of many types, Warrensburg is served by a wide diversity of religious faiths. With the presence of the university in the midst of the community, one finds most of the world’s major religions represented here. Campus Ministries serve the needs of Christians, Moslems, Ba’hai, and other traditions of students who come to the Warrensburg community.

An active ministerial association meets monthly to provide communication and to share ministries. Many of the participants are guided by the Warrensburg Christian Social Concerns Committee, made up of representatives from various congregations and community service groups in the area. A Volunteer Chaplain program also works at Western Missouri Medical Center as a part of the association’s activities. Military Chaplains, of course, help serve the needs of personnel at Whiteman AFB, rounding out the ministries available to this community.
