Welcome to the homepage of the Teachers’ Warehouse of Johnson County, Missouri.

Budgets for schools are always limited and teachers often spend large amounts of their own money to support both the educational activities and the underprivileged children in their classrooms. Unfortunately at the same time members of the community discard items that could be put to good use in these classrooms. The goal of the Teachers’ Warehouse is to link community resources with public education needs for the benefit of our entire county.

Supported by a great group of volunteers, the Teachers’ Warehouse provides a place where teachers from Johnson County can acquire new, surplus, slightly damaged or gently used goods from Donors. These supplies are provided at no cost for use in our childrens’ classrooms. The Needs/Items page lists the types of supplies the Warehouse usually houses and the “wish lists” of our teachers.

The Warehouse is located at Arwood's Furniture & Gifts, 801 Pride Avenue, in Warrensburg. Teachers' Warehouse is open for donations and tours on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to Noon year round. If that time does not work for you, please call the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center at 660-747-3168 to arrange a drop-off time for donations.
