 Taking Care of Our Own

The values that make Warrensburg a great place to live also make its citizens responsive to those in need. Area social service agencies include the Johnson County Division of Aging/Family Services, Catholic Charities, and INFORM, which provides referrals to parents and others seeking services people-especially children with disabilities.

The Warrensburg Senior Center looks after the needs of the elderly and administers programs that provide food, fellowship and transportation. Meals-on-Wheels provides food service for homebound individuals. Additional social and health care services are provided by  Warrensburg Youth Services, Survival House (services for abused adults), Johnson County Community Health Services, and Hospice Care of West Central Missouri.

Pathways Community Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. provides comprehensive mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention services to pre-adolescent children through older adult populations. We provide these services in a manner that is accessible to our clients, focuses on the needs of each person and utilizes the most cost-effective and affordable methods of care. Services are based on individual need and may include in-home comprehensive psychiatric rehabilitation services, office-based outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment services, and adult and adolescent residential substance abuse treatment services.

Johnson County Community Health Services (JCCHS) was established for the multiple purposes of health guidance, prevention and control of disease in the homes and communities of Johnson County, Missouri.  JCCHS operates three divisions:  Community/Public Health services; a federally certified and state licensed Home Health Agency and Johnson County Hospice Care, also state and federally certified.  The wide range of services offered by JCCHS include:
