Worship

More than 30 faith communities serve the spiritual and religious needs of Warrensburg. From small intimate families of faith to larger congregations offering programs and groups of many types, Warrensburg is served by a wide diversity of religious faiths. With the University of Central Missouri in the midst of the community, most of the world’s major religions are represented here. There are campus ministries serving the needs of Christians, Muslims, and other faiths.

An active ministerial association meets monthly to enhance communication and to share ministries. The Warrensburg Christian Social Concerns Committee, comprised of representatives from various congregations and community service groups in the area, guides activities designed to enhance our spiritual and emotional lives. A volunteer chaplain program works at Western Missouri Medical Center as part of the association’s activities. Air Force chaplains help serve the ministerial needs of Whiteman AFB.
